Can I analyze 3D models with this UMAT? (https://soilmodels.com/download/umat-hyposand-uibk/)

Yes, sure, the implementation is fully 3D even when used in 2D analysis. In 2D just the off-plane strain components are deactivated. Regards David
Hi,
I’ve used it for relative simple models without problems. The tricky part is to identify and define properly the boundary conditions, but this is independet from the constitutive model and is a problem of 3D modelling.
