I am using the mesh-to-mesh solution mapping with MCC model. The element type used is CPE8RP. My initial analysis runs without any issue and when the deformations reach a certain level, I create another mesh and use *Map Solution command to transfer variables as initial conditions to the new mesh. However, I have difficulty transferring Void ratio. Void ratios were transferred but they are not in agreement with last step of the previous analysis. In some element integration points, void ratios are zero and my analysis stops. Can some one help me to solve this issue? In the initial mesh I am using a linearly varying void ratio distribution.
