Greetings professor,

I’m trying to implement clay hypoplastic model for a residual soil in Colombia. I do not count with the neccessary field or laboratory test to obtain the constitutive parameters related to stiffness anisotropy. Would you recommend to utilize only parameters related to the basic model and the intergranular strain concept, or should I obtain alpha_[G, E, u] by other thechnique such as optimization algorithms?

By the way, what I’m trying to do is to reproduce the soil mechanical behavior (different stress paths, drained and undrained, and different soil responses such as q vs ea, G degradations, among others) with only one set of parameters.
