Description
GeoXPM is a powerful and user-friendly computing package that employs a continuum particle-based approach. It has been specifically designed to meet the ever-evolving needs of solving complex geotechnical engineering, geomechanics and geophysics challenges, particularly those involving fracturing, large deformation and flow behaviours of geomaterials. GeoXPM solves the continuum governing equations using the smoothed particle hydrodynamics (SPH), which is a truly meshfree method capable of handling challenging engineering applications involving large deformation and complex moving interfaces. The software provides a range of constitutive models commonly employed for modelling soils and granular materials. Moreover, advanced users have the option to integrate their own constitutive models into GeoXPM using the User-defined Constitutive feature. Collaborative GeoXPM version is capable of handling complex multiphysics and soil-structure interaction problems.
