Hi all, Recently I am simulating unit tests in tight sand under pressure using a subplastic model, the sand is Fontainebleau sand and the subplastic model is from David Mašín.This model incorporates models from von Wolffersdorff (1996) and Niemunis and Herle (1997). Strangely, when I do not enter the five parameters used to control the intergranular strain, the calculations yield results and the pore ratios and stress-strain curves are reasonable. However, when I input the five parameters used to control the intergranular strain, the calculations give very unreasonable pore ratios, the Mises stresses at all nodes are 0, the stress-strain curves don’t change in any way, and the vertical stresses are always the initial peritectic stresses. Does anyone know the reason for this?
