I have obtained a Diploma in Mining Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens (2009), a MSc in Geomechanics at Delft University of Technology (2012) and a Ph.D. in Geotechnical Engineering at University of California, Davis (2018) . I have also worked in the research team of PLAXIS BV in Delft, The Netherlands. Currently I am a postdoctoral researcher at Chalmers University of Technology in Gothenburg, Sweden. I am passionate about computational geomechanics, including constitutive modeling and numerical analysis.
1) Constitutive and numerical modeling of soft sensitive clays. Postdoctoral research at Chalmers working in the Geotechnics group led by Prof. Minna Karstunen. September 2017-Present.
2) Sand constitutive modeling accounting for fabric anisotropy and zero elastic range. PhD at UC Davis under the supervision of Prof. Yannis Dafalias. September 2013-January 2018.
3) Implementation, Validation, and Verification of the UBC3D-PLM model in PLAXIS. Master thesis in Delft University of Technology.
