Geo-Institute, Housing and Building National Research Center, Giza, Egypt

Beshoy obtained his Ph.D. from Missouri University of Science and Technology (former University of Missouri at Rolla) in 2022, studying constitutive modeling for the hydro-mechanical cyclic behavior of unsaturated soils. He got both his bachelor's and master's degrees in civil engineering from Ain Shams University, Cairo, Egypt. During the period from 2012 to 2017, he held many positions as a geotechnical and senior geotechnical engineer in national and international consultation firms in Egypt. He served as a technical secretary for the Deep Excavation Sub-Committee for the development of the Egyptian Standards for Soil Mechanics and Foundation Execution. Beshoy worked as a geotechnical engineer at Dar Al-Handasah from September 2012 to July 2015. From July 2015 to July 2017, he has been hired as a Research Assistant in the Soil Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering Institute in the Housing and Building National Research Center (HBRC), Cairo, Egypt. At the same time, he worked as a part-time Senior Geotechnical Engineer in the Geo-Consultants consultation office in Egypt.
