I am PhD student in Geotechnical Engineering at the University of Salerno working on inverse analysis algorithms applied to the calibration of advanced soil constitutive and rheological models for large deformation modeling under supervision of Prof Sabatino Cuomo and Prof Michele Calvello.
My research aim is to incorporate Inverse problem approaches to new advanced geotechnical numerical methods. this approach simplifies the practical usage of advanced constitutive models and advanced numerical methods. Different inverse analysis algorithm would be applied to simulate large deformation phenomena. Material Point Method (MPM) and Smoothed Particles Hydrodynamic (SPH) beside adopting an advanced constitutive model (Hypoplastic Model) and rheological model are the ingredients of this research.
