I am a Ph.D. student at Pontifical Catholic University of Chile since August 2017. I received my Civil Engineering Title on March 2016 from Pontifical Javeriana University, Bogota, and my M.E. degree in August 2017 from the same University. I began my career in consulting engineering offices as an assistant engineer in 2015 in topics related to sewage networks design, geotechnical exploration, and earthquake soil response analyses. Since then I have been interested in the description of the mechanical soil behavior through computational and experimental modeling.
My research interests are the study of the constitutive behavior of soils, discrete element method, geotechnical bioengineering, physical modeling of soil behavior and seismic soil response. Nowadays, I am working on mechanical soil improvement with biological factors.
