Charles University

Tomáš Kadlíček is an assistant professor at the Faculty of Science, Charles University, Czech Republic. He received his MSc degree in Civil Engineering from the Czech Technical University in Prague in 2014, with a thesis focused on modelling the Evropská access tunnel using the hypoplastic clay model for fine-grained soils. He obtained his Ph.D. from the same institution in 2018, with a dissertation devoted to parameter identification of advanced constitutive models of soils. His research focuses on numerical and constitutive modelling in geotechnics, including hypoplasticity, calibration of advanced soil models, finite element modelling of geotechnical structures, slope stability, and cyclic loading of soils and soil–structure interaction. At Charles University, he teaches courses on fundamentals of civil engineering and instrumentation and monitoring.
