I have over thirty years of experience in geotechnical engineering. My areas of expertise include advanced numerical analysis and programming, geotechnical instrumentation, and database applications. I have performed advanced numerical analysis for a broad range of projects including; the New Orleans flood protection system in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina; the Fukushima Nuclear Plant freeze wall; Compressed Air Energy Storage (CAES) caverns in salt; storage caverns for low level nuclear waste; seismic amplification analysis for coal combustion ash impoundments; and numerous support of excavation systems.
