Umut Dağar received his engineering education at the University of Gaziantep and the Cukurova University in Turkey. He completed his Master of Science requirements and obtained M.Sc. degree from Department of Civil Engineering of Cukurova University in September 2018. His academic training, which consists of four-year B.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering and two-year M.Sc. degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in Geotechnical Engineering prepared him to be an effective researcher in Civil Engineering and Geotechnical Engineering. Nowadays, he continues his Ph.D. studies at Istanbul University-Cerrahpasa, Department of Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering Division. Between 2016-2020, he worked as a civil engineer and geotechnical engineer in various national and international projects.
