Hypoplasticity UDSM and Preferred Units (SI or Imperial) in Plaxis

Hi,

I would like to know whether numerical issues will arise when the sand and clay hypoplasticity UDSMs found here:

Clay and Sand hypoplasticity UMAT and Plaxis implementations, including UMAT-Plaxis interface

are used in a Plaxis model that uses imperial units (feet, inches, lbf, etc). Or should one just work with SI units to be safe?
