Hello everybody,
Does somebody know a FEM Software with the implementation of PM4Silt model’s routine? I mean, one different from FLAC.
Thanks for your help.

Hi Daniel,
PLAXIS 2D also has this one now available:
https://communities.bentley.com/products/geotech-analysis/w/plaxis-soilvision-wiki/52851/pm4silt—plaxis-udsm
There is also a webinar available: Seismic Behavior of Fine-grained Soils Using PM4Silt at: https://learn.bentley.com/app/VideoPlayer/LinkToIndividualCourse?LearningPathID=113626&CourseId=132723&MediaID=5020721

Thanks a lot for the information! Does this mean that by having the last Plaxis version the constitutive model will be already there?
Hi Daniel,
Yes, when having PLAXIS 2D CONNECT Edition V21, or later, the PM4Silt model will be available from the installation, so no need to add something.
You need to have GSE enabled and use PLAXIS 2D Ultimate to benefit from PM4Silt in a Dynamics calculation.
See for all available soil models:

PM4Silt is part of the PLAXIS UDSMs

Greetings Micha Van der Sloot,
It is impossible for us to obtain V21 of plaxis, we can only afford V20, so, is there any way to add the U-MAT code of PM4SILT (as for Hypoplastic model)?
Thanks in advance.
